Instructions for use Bronchicum S for cough
The drug has a bronchodilator, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect. The drug is used to accelerate the evacuation of thick mucus from the bronchi and dilute it. One of the main advantages of the product is the stimulation of the epithelium in the bronchi. This property of Bronchicum C allows for better removal of thick mucus from the upper respiratory tract. The medicine is prescribed for the treatment of tracheitis, bronchitis and other diseases in which it is difficult to expel sputum.
According to the instructions for use, the product contains thyme extract and auxiliary components. This plant contains many trace elements, including choline, borneol, ascaridole, terpineol and cymene. Thanks to its composition, thyme has not only an expectorant, but also an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. If a specialist has not prescribed a different dosage, then treatment is carried out according to the following algorithm:
- from six months - divide the daily dosage of 5 ml into two times;
- from 12 months - 7.5 ml divided into 3 equal doses;

- from 6 years old - 5 ml in the morning, lunch and evening;

Since sediment often forms at the bottom of the glass bottle, the container should be shaken vigorously before use. The duration of treatment with such a remedy will depend on the duration and severity of the illness that caused the cough. If you use it for more than 5 days, you should consult your doctor.

Important! The drug helps liquefy and expectorate mucus and relieves inflammatory processes that develop in the respiratory tract during the development of infectious respiratory diseases.
The main active component of the syrup is thyme oil, which in the syrup effectively suppresses dry cough.
The drug is effective at any stage of disease development and in most cases eliminates irritation, which provokes the cough effect, eliminating severe attacks in patients of any age.
The remedy is taken both for a dry cough and when it passes into a productive form.
But at this stage it already has a stimulating effect, promoting the evacuation of sputum from the body.
In parallel, thyme serves as a bactericidal component, which is especially active in the development of any coccal flora.
Also, when consumed as syrup, this oil envelops and protects the mucous membranes, limiting the entry and spread of harmful microorganisms on their surface.
