Psychology of illnesses: Throat (pain)

Psychosomatics - why my throat hurts for no reason

When there are signs of infection, then everything is more clear - a sore throat is caused by inflammatory processes and harmful microorganisms. But what to do when your throat hurts, and doctors don’t find any reason for it - all tests are normal.

Psychosomatics of unclear pain in the throat area may have the following causes:

  • stress;
  • depression;
  • jar of Hearts;
  • physical or mental fatigue;
  • argument;
  • resentment;
  • unclear relationships;
  • suppressed emotions;
  • fright;
  • understatement.

All these negative factors create tension in muscle structures, including the throat. Muscle spasms in the throat may well cause pain.

Introduction

Let's start with anatomy. The throat is the front part of the neck, containing the beginning of the esophagus and respiratory tract. The throat connects the nasal cavities with the larynx and the mouth with the esophagus. It plays an important role in the processes of breathing, speech and swallowing. As you already understand, the throat is a very responsible organ in human life.

The throat hurts from stress, myopia speaks of fear of the future, and acne appears due to disagreement with oneself or subconscious fear of people” - these are just a few explanations that can be found if you type the word “psychosomatics” in a search engine.

Do you agree that the person is quite complex? Psychosomatics, which appeared relatively long ago, has undergone different periods of development and has recently become popular again. There is an explanation for this: studies are increasingly being conducted around the world proving:

A. Man is an energetic being.

B. Emotions live not only in his head, but also in his body.

C. Our consciousness influences our emotions.

D. Our subconscious influences our lives.

And this means only one thing: psychosomatics exists and is the cause of more than 90% of diseases. Why does one person get a sore throat, but another in exactly the same conditions does not? Predisposition, you say, weakened immunity, heredity. But they also depend on our emotions.

Physical layer

The throat is the front part of the neck, housing the esophagus and airways. The larynx, nasal cavities and mouth connect through the throat to the esophagus, where food enters. All processes of swallowing, breathing and speech pass through this important organ, and if the throat begins to hurt, then all these processes become difficult or even completely blocked.

Considering these three functions, it is necessary to consider problems with the lungs (asthma, for example), if breathing is difficult; laryngitis, if a lump in the throat prevents you from talking; and in the case of swallowing, the problem may be partly related to digestion.

Psychosomatics: throat

Throat diseases and psychosomatics

The throat diseases that people most often encounter are tonsillitis (sore throat), laryngitis, and pharyngitis. They are associated with such symptoms as soreness or a feeling of a “lump” in the throat.

All diseases caused by the penetration of infection in the form of viruses or bacteria into the body are called somatic. Thus, psychosomatics includes two components - medical and psychological.

That is, the science of psychosomatics studies the connection between a person’s psychological state and his illnesses. And psychosomatics associates throat diseases with unspoken grievances and suppressed emotions (anger, irritation).

What is psychosomatics

The very concept of “somatics” means a disease that affects the body. As a result, psychosomatics includes a medical and psychological basis.

To put it simply, science studies various diseases of the body, which directly depend on a person’s psychological state and reaction to certain life circumstances.

Thus, all throat diseases, which include pharyngitis, sore throat or other inflammatory process of the mucous membranes, depend on how a person perceives the world.

If the patient often holds back accumulated grievances and does not allow strong negative emotions in the form of anger or irritation to come out, the throat will hurt very often.

To understand why a cold develops and a sore throat without signs of a cold, it is worth visualizing how negative energy accumulates inside a person, constantly asking to come out. Since a person refuses to let it out, all kinds of diseases develop inside the body.

Frequent stress at work, troubles in your personal life, and so on, affect your health.

Such experiences entail real diseases of the body, and this applies not only to the throat, but also to other parts of the body.

The throat is a conductor, a symbol of life and self-expression

Physiologically, the throat performs the swallowing function; it also houses the vocal cords, thanks to which we can speak, producing various sounds. However, psychosomatics views throat diseases from a broader perspective. Metaphysicians view the throat as a conductor, a channel through which we interact with the outside world and express ourselves.

The main functions of the throat from a psychosomatic point of view:

  • The conductor of breathing - the main process without which our life would be impossible. The quality of the respiratory process largely depends on the condition of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.
  • Checkpoint - everything that enters the body through the throat is tested for harmfulness. Also, cold air is warmed in the throat and hot air is cooled, and the dosage of swallowed substances occurs.
  • The throat ligaments facilitate our self-expression and help us interact with other people. Thanks to them, we can show some creative abilities, such as singing and public speaking.
  • According to research by metaphysical scientists, the main energy potential of creativity is concentrated in the throat.
  • The throat also helps perform another function - swallowing food (both physical and spiritual). We obtain energy for the functioning of the body through physical food. We can be filled with spirituality in common with people, providing them with verbal support and accepting it from others.

Why does my throat hurt?

Before you find out how a psychosomatic doctor views certain throat diseases, you need to understand what disorders may appear in the body.

The most well-known and common throat diseases include:

  • Angina;
  • Pharyngitis;
  • Laryngitis;
  • Chronic tonsillitis.

Less common disorders include edema, laryngeal stenosis, and laryngospasm.

As a rule, doctors most often believe that such throat diseases develop due to a decrease in the functioning of the immune system, which is why viruses or bacteria enter the human body, provoking the disease.

The patient's condition is accompanied by fever, dryness and soreness in the larynx, accumulation of pus and other cold symptoms.

Meanwhile, psychosomatics believes that many colds and sore throats do not occur due to viruses entering the body. The reason is most often associated with weakening of the nervous system, frequent stress, anxiety and other psychological reasons.

It is precisely these phenomena that psychosomatics studies.

How does the pathological condition manifest?

The provocateur of a lump in the throat is laryngeal neurosis. This pathology may be associated with physiological reasons, or may be considered in the context of psychosomatics.

To understand what caused neurosis, you need to understand its symptoms:

  1. Loss of sensitivity in the pharynx, as well as in neighboring areas of the body: neck, shoulders. Physiological causes of numbness are tumor processes in the brain, syphilis or respiratory infection. The reason from a psychosomatic point of view is hysteria.
  2. The feeling of suffocation is a consequence of an infection in the throat. According to psychosomatics, the cause is severe nervous tension.
  3. Pharyngeal spasm is a phenomenon most often associated with mental instability.

Signs of psychosomatic sore throat

Patients often cannot determine whether bacterial tonsillitis is caused by banal physiological factors or psychological problems.

If swelling of the larynx, accompanied by inflammation of the tonsils, does not go away for a long time, but a person takes prescribed medications, it should be assumed that the primary source of the disease is a psychological disorder. Psychosomatics of angina in adults and children is accompanied by the following symptoms:

  • sudden development of the disease without obvious reasons,
  • tonsils may increase in size and become loose,
  • feeling of a lump in the throat,
  • frequent relapses, difficult to respond to antibiotic therapy,
  • deterioration of well-being after conflicts,
  • rapid attenuation of the disease is observed even in the absence of treatment.

If the disease often goes away on its own, an experienced therapist will certainly suspect that the primary source of the disease lies in psychological problems. In such cases, doctors advise the patient to undergo a course of treatment from a psychologist; during the specialist’s work, the patient treats several diseases at the same time.

Psychological assistance is provided to the patient on an inpatient basis or regular visits. The psychosomatics of the disease is not a manifestation of a mental disorder.

Treatment

A lump in the throat is not considered a serious pathological condition, but symptoms can persist for a long time, so special treatment is not provided, but comprehensive therapeutic measures are taken to eliminate the causes of the problem.

Complex therapy includes:

  • taking medications;
  • speech therapy;
  • psychotherapy;
  • physiotherapy.

A lump in the throat, accompanied by panic attacks and depression, is treated with antidepressants. You should only use medications that are prescribed by a medical specialist. There are also over-the-counter medications for getting rid of nervousness and the effects of stress, but before taking them, it also wouldn’t hurt to consult a doctor.

A lump in the throat is treated with:

  • antidepressants and tranquilizers;
  • sedative medications to eliminate spasmodic phenomena;
  • vitamins;
  • drugs to normalize the functioning of the nervous system.

Speech therapy involves:

  • exercises to help relax your neck and shoulders;
  • relaxation techniques;
  • voice correction exercises;
  • methods to relieve pharyngeal tension;
  • avoiding smoking and drinking caffeinated drinks.

Psychotherapy is the basis of treatment if a lump in the throat is caused by psychosomatic factors. It is recommended to combine sessions with a psychotherapist with physical training. Psychotherapy is useful for patients whose lump in the throat recurs periodically.

Psychosomatics determines the symptomatic treatment of a lump in the throat according to the type of neurosis. You cannot cope with hysteria, nervousness, and imbalance without the help of a psychologist. The specialist identifies the cause of the disease, then conducts sessions, the result of which is either the patient ignores the provoking factor or replaces it with a positive factor.

Physiotherapeutic procedures to help overcome a lump in the throat include:

  • vitamin electrophoresis;
  • breathing exercises;
  • hypnotic sessions;
  • healing shower;
  • neck and shoulder massage.

If the neurosis that causes a lump in the throat strikes suddenly, a light jog can help. This method is ideal in the absence of panic attacks. Among the folk remedies, sedative decoctions of valerian and motherwort help to overcome a lump in the throat.

To prevent the manifestation of neurosis, it is important to lead a healthy lifestyle, sufficient time to rest and sleep, balance your diet, and give up bad habits.

Treatment of throat psychosomatics

If you have any problems with your throat, you should first consult a doctor and undergo a diagnostic examination. If somatic diseases are detected, it is necessary to take the treatment prescribed by the doctor. Elimination of psychosomatic causes in the case of infectious, inflammatory and other pathological processes should be used as an auxiliary therapy, but not as a replacement for the main one.

It can be difficult for a person to independently understand the causes of illness that lie in the mental area. The problem is that many factors have long been repressed into the subconscious and are simply not realized by the patient himself. To pull it all out, you need the help of a specialist.

To identify the psychosomatic causes of throat diseases, it is recommended to consult a psychotherapist. Using special techniques, the specialist will help the patient discover the true causes of the disease and work through them.

A sore throat, psychosomatics has been established and carefully worked out, goes away very quickly - the person receives relief and complete healing.

To improve your condition, you can use the following tips:

  • Drink more fluids. It helps remove harmful microorganisms, toxins and phlegm. Herbal infusions, tea with honey, lemon, raspberries, berry fruit drinks, and green tea are best suited.
  • For infectious diseases of the throat, stay in bed. The desire to get over an illness “on your feet” is fraught with serious complications. The body needs rest during such a period. He directs all his resources to fight the disease and you must help him.
  • Ventilate the room. When you are sick, it is very important to have access to fresh air. In a closed, stuffy room, viruses and bacteria multiply at lightning speed. The patient should wrap himself in a warm blanket to prevent additional hypothermia.
  • To relieve a sore throat, you can take special antibacterial painkillers.
  • Reflect on your life and try to understand where and what you did wrong. Don't blame yourself, just try to realize where you went against yourself and your heart's desires. Think about what you can improve in yourself, what you really want and how this can be achieved. Forgive the offenders and ask for forgiveness from those you offended, at least mentally.

Psychology of illnesses: Throat (pain)

THROAT (PAIN) - (Louise Hay)

Causes of illness
: Inability to speak up. Pent-up anger. Inhibited creative activity. Reluctance to change yourself.

A Possible Solution to Promote Healing

It's great to make sounds. I express myself freely and joyfully. I can easily speak on my own behalf. I express my creative self. I want to constantly change.

THROAT (PAIN) - (Liz Burbo)

Physical blockage
The throat is the front part of the neck and contains the beginning of the esophagus and airways. The throat connects the nasal cavities with the larynx and the mouth with the esophagus. It plays an important role in the processes of breathing, speech and swallowing.

Emotional blockage

As you already understand, the throat is a very responsible organ in human life. Throat diseases have three main metaphysical meanings. If a sore throat is accompanied by difficulty breathing, it indicates that there is little aspiration in a person’s life. See also the article EASY (PROBLEMS).

If a sore throat prevents you from speaking, see the article LARINGITIS.

If we are talking about a feeling of CONTRACTION, if a person feels that he has been grabbed by the throat,

it means that someone is forcing him to do or say something. He feels that he is being pressured.

If a person feels a sore throat when swallowing, he should ask himself the following question: “What situation is difficult to swallow at the moment? What piece won’t go down my throat?”

Perhaps it is some strong emotion or reluctance to accept a person or a new idea. This difficulty causes a person to become angry and aggressive, directed against himself or another person. Often, when some piece does not fit into the throat, a person feels like a victim and takes the position of “poor, unfortunate me.”

Mental block

It is in the throat that the center responsible for creativity is located; therefore, if you have a sore throat, you should give yourself the right to create and do whatever you want without stepping on your throat

, without blaming yourself and without fear of disturbing others. Instead of getting angry at yourself for making a bad decision or acting rashly, learn to accept with love what you create. Only tacts can reveal your individuality.

I'll give you an example from my personal life. Several times my throat started to hurt badly before public speaking; it was hard for me to swallow

This pill is the need to speak overtime at conferences or lectures five evenings in a row. It seemed to me that my body was telling me that this was too much work, and I began to feel sorry for myself. In reality, it told me that I myself, without any coercion, made such a schedule for myself. The pain disappeared as soon as I made the decision to conduct all conferences and lectures with love, no matter how difficult it was for me.

It is interesting to note that the throat connects the heart and the head, or, on a metaphysical level, self-love

and
I am
.
By creating your life in accordance with your true needs, you realize your individuality, your self
, and open up to abundance. Therefore, if you allow yourself to build your life on your own, it will help you develop your creative abilities. Do what you think is necessary, even if you know that some of the people around you may not like it.

If you feel like you've been grabbed by the throat,

know that this is just your perception of the situation.
No one can take you by the throat unless you allow it yourself. Don’t worry that some people may become pieces that won’t fit into your throat,
that you won’t be able to control them. Anyone who seeks to control others has neither the strength nor the time to build his own life.

Louise hey about this

She was one of the first to establish definitions in psychosomatics. She created a theory of the influence of mental processes on physical well-being. And in her opinion, the psychosomatics of sore throat has its own rules. Thus, the throat in her vision is considered a channel for the vivid expression of feelings and creativity.

In adults, Louise Hay associates throat diseases with the following reasons:

  • inability to defend one's interests (stand up for oneself);
  • suppressed (unexpressed) anger at some situation or someone’s actions;
  • stop in creative development (state of crisis);
  • rejection (unwillingness) of changes in oneself.

In particular, diseases such as laryngitis and pharyngitis indicate that fear and anger are retained inside. They constrain and prevent you from talking about something. And the reason for the unspokenness is supposedly the pressure of others with their authority.

Sore throat in adults is associated with the fear of speaking rudely and the inability to express oneself. But, as a rule, it affects children under 10 years of age. In a child, it arises from blocking his experiences. And they are associated with unpleasant conversations in the family.

When a little person does not understand the reasons for disagreements, he completes them. And he does this only with a “black felt-tip pen”. Those. he believes that he is the reason. Therefore, there is a feeling that he is superfluous, not desired. But he is afraid to talk about it.

Psychosomatics Throat

Psychosomatics Throat

When we say that we have a sore throat, most often we mean pain and inflammation in the pharynx and/or tonsils - we’ll talk about the psychosomatic causes of these diseases today.

Tonsillitis - inflammation of the tonsils, sore throat

Food passes through the mouth and pharynx of all animals, and they either swallow it or spit it out if it does not suit them.

If we talk about throat diseases, then we have to think about what “piece” of something we would really like to have and worry about something related to this issue.

Example.

A man is expecting a promotion at work. In fact, no one told him about this - he decided so himself when his boss left his job. Since the man was the deputy chief and did an excellent job, he reasonably assumes that everything will be like this. In a few days, a team meeting is scheduled, at which, as the man thinks, they will talk about his appointment. However, at the meeting, management introduces the new boss to the team, but not him. In the evening, a man develops a purulent sore throat.

Inflammatory diseases develop at the stage of conflict resolution, as we remember (R.G. Hamer “New German Medicine”), because as soon as a man realized that everything was over, albeit sad for him, but everything was already behind him, inflammatory processes immediately begin .

Another example. But with a positive ending, although there will be illness in this case too.

An entrepreneur starts a new project. There are too many difficulties along the way. After some time, they are all overcome. On the day when the presentation of a new project takes place, the whole process is successfully launched - the entrepreneur falls ill with a sore throat.

As you can see, diseases occur in both cases - both in the case when everything ends successfully and when - vice versa. Because illnesses do not depend on success/failure, but on the presence of a certain type of experience. In this case, both men wanted something very badly, and when they stopped wanting it, they got sick.

Children usually get a sore throat when they really want maternal warmth and affection, but do not receive it for some time. For example, if mom got very angry or left somewhere for a long time.

Pharyngitis

Pharyngitis is also a recovery phase after conflict resolution. And there is also a “piece” there, but with nuances: “I cannot swallow a “piece” of something, it is difficult for me to live without it, and at the same time my self-esteem decreases.”

For example, “My boyfriend left for a long time, I am now alone, I feel lonely and without support.”

Or “I was waiting for help from my parents, but they didn’t give it to me, but gave it to my sister.”

Children also develop pharyngitis if they have not heard kind words from their mother for a long time.

And if the mother constantly programs the child with the words “don’t drink cold things - your throat will hurt,” you can enroll the child in the chronicles for pharyngitis.

If you are familiar with the concept of enneatype, then you can see that enneatype IV (there are nine of them) has a basic feeling of envy for many things that he will never have (this is his inner feeling). This means that he constantly wants something, but at the same time he feels that he will not get it. The conflict of the not received “piece” hangs, and thus is not completely resolved. It can be removed through work with the enneatype, but until this happens, a person may have chronic pharyngitis.

Valery Sinelnikov's opinion

Psychotherapist Sinelnikov saw the cause of a sore throat in fear. Psychosomatics of the condition is a ban imposed by the patient himself on expressing thoughts in a rude and direct form.

Accumulated fear, which causes a sore throat, is associated with:

  • inability to express oneself;
  • unwillingness to fight for your opinion;
  • fear of voicing any request;
  • inability to express an attitude towards an object or person;
  • inability to stand up for oneself.

When the throat hurts, the body thereby tries to block the speech channel so that it is impossible to express rude thoughts and throw out anger.

Psychosomatic causes of sore throat

Psychosomatics of a sore throat is the inability to speak out, negotiate, or complete a started thought. Moreover, a painful condition occurs when a person practices this style of communication for a long time. The throats of modest people, intellectuals, shy and notorious individuals suffer from sore throats, but people who are not embarrassed to speak out and throw a harsh word rarely suffer from painful pathologies of the upper respiratory tract. That is, the throat hurts when a person does not express what he wants, but accumulates unspoken things in himself.

The energy of speech passes through the throat part of the respiratory tract, and the person muffles himself at this energy level. It’s not without reason that when people cry or remember the past, their throats feel tight or itchy. This organ is a symbol of expression, disclosure and acceptance of oneself, the ability to stand up for one’s words, express or ask for what one wants. With easy and problem-free communication with people around you, your throat does not hurt.

Also, according to psychosomatics, the throat is an organ through which “swallowed” negativity passes: fear, anger, resentment. “Swallowed” emotions do not allow you to live in peace; because of them, there is a constant desire to speak out, to express painful things. When the accumulated negativity becomes too much, the “swallowing” organ hurts.

Reasons why a sore throat, according to psychosomatics:

  • inability to stand up for your words;
  • accumulation of anger and resentment;
  • crisis stage in creative activity;
  • rigidity;
  • suppressed rudeness;
  • inability to express thoughts.

Psychosomatics of sore throat according to Louise Hay

Psychologist Louise Hay believed that every known disease is mental in nature. When your throat hurts, you should look for the problem in sensory input and creative self-expression.

According to the psychologist, the psychosomatics of painful pathologies of the upper respiratory tract is:

  • inability to defend one's own interests;
  • suppressed anger that arose after a certain situation;
  • problems in creative realization;
  • unwillingness to change oneself to achieve better.

Louise Hay believed that pharyngitis and laryngitis occur when a person harbors fear and anger. A sore throat is the result of the fact that the patient finds it difficult to express thoughts directly and rudely. In children, tonsillitis is associated with the accumulation of unspoken experiences associated with family quarrels.

Opinion of Liz Burbo

Psychologist Liz Burbo believed that the psychosomatics of a sore throat is fear remaining inside. The person does not express it because:

  • afraid of being judged or misunderstood;
  • believes that his words can cause negative feelings in listeners;
  • assumes that it does not meet the expectations of other people;
  • fears a response from an authority figure;
  • afraid to blurt out too much;
  • believes that he will receive a negative response to his request.

Liz Burbo believed that in order to heal, it was important to learn self-expression and free and open communication.

The psychosomatics of childhood adenoiditis, according to the psychologist, is the concealment of experiences associated with parental conflicts. A sick child hides his worries and does not express them, fearing the reaction of his parents. He is not sure of his parents' feelings, he believes that they do not love him, they want to get rid of him.

Opinion of Valery Sinelnikov

Psychotherapist Sinelnikov saw the cause of a sore throat in fear. Psychosomatics of the condition is a ban imposed by the patient himself on expressing thoughts in a rude and direct form.

Accumulated fear, which causes a sore throat, is associated with:

  • inability to express oneself;
  • unwillingness to fight for your opinion;
  • fear of voicing any request;
  • inability to express an attitude towards an object or person;
  • inability to stand up for oneself.

When the throat hurts, the body thereby tries to block the speech channel so that it is impossible to express rude thoughts and throw out anger.

Thoughts and illnesses

There are special tables linking wrong thoughts and illnesses. They have a separate section dedicated to the throat. An example is the work of Louise Hay.

Sore throat: psychosomatics, causes

Sore throat (tonsillitis)Restraining rudeness towards someone. Inability to show selfishness.
GlandsContainment and suppression. Everything happens without the participation of the subject and against his wishes.
PharyngitisDependence on others, fear, unspoken anger, unwillingness to change.
Cough (sore throat)The desire to attract the attention of others - to be seen or heard.
Lump in the throatMistrust, fear of living.
LaryngitisFatigue from other people's pressure, inability to speak due to anger and fear.
Nasopharyngeal discharge (mucus in the throat)Feeling like a victim, uncrying a child's cry.

If you ask the science of psychosomatics why your throat hurts, the answer will be simple. He is provoked by unexpressed emotions, the fear of making himself known to the whole world.

Tickle in the throat

The feeling of a sore throat can be due to various reasons. This is both a possible onset of a cold and a state of discomfort, which is a sign of the development of psychosomatic disorders.

A number of scientists have proven the role of emotions in people's lives. But, for a number of reasons, not every person has the opportunity and desire to extract and use these emotions for their own benefit. The “correct” hormonal balance increases the immune strength of the human body. The right balance of hormones in the human body is a guarantee of emotional stability and mental health.

Psychologists see a solution to this problem in strengthening the immune system, through harmonizing the surrounding living conditions, refusing the unreasonable use of medications, and developing the ability to enjoy everyday little things.

For some, daily morning coffee plays a big role in life. And you should not deny yourself this for no reason, so as not to provoke a feeling of doom and a “lump in the throat.”

During periods of nervous tension, the muscles of the body are under pressure. The muscles of the larynx also become tense, which can result in soreness, scratching and tickling in the throat. Some people have a constant feeling of constriction in the throat and lack of oxygen.

If a sore throat is prolonged and causes obvious discomfort, then it makes sense to visit a doctor for a consultation and undergo all tests.

Mucus in the throat

Due to constant stress, the throat muscles take a considerable blow. A persistent feeling of anxiety, hopelessness or nervous excitement provokes increased secretion of mucus, the accumulation of which makes you want to cough up and get rid of it.

It often happens that a person begins to cough at night, as the glandular secretion flowing down the throat causes the muscles to reflexively contract. This whole process is accompanied by a convulsive cough, which can be suppressed by taking a vertical position, a glass of water and a sedative tablet.

If mucus constantly accumulates in the throat and causes discomfort, then it is worth visiting a therapist and otolaryngologist.

Psychosomatics comes to the rescue

The science of psychosomatics not only answers the question “why does my throat hurt,” but also offers ways to solve the problem. The algorithm for solving psychosomatic problems is very simple and is associated with establishing the cause-and-effect relationship of the disease and its source. Let's look at it in a diagram:

  1. We identify the root cause of the disease: virus or stress.
  2. If psychosomatics is to blame, we determine the source of stress.
  3. We solve a psychosomatic problem, and throat diseases disappear after it.

Of course, a behavioral stereotype that has developed over the years will not disappear instantly. From awareness of a problem to its resolution is a long and difficult path. And yet, everyone can walk this path. The only exception may be a child whose dependence on his parents is too great. We will dwell on the features of helping children later. First, let's talk about adults.

Psychosomatic tonsillitis (tonsillitis)

Manifests itself in the form of infectious-allergic inflammation in the tissues of the tonsils. Somatically transmitted:

  • Through the air.
  • Through contact with a sick person.

Hypothermia and immunity indicators affect the time and severity of the disease.

The psychosomatics of a sore throat with a sore throat is associated with a person’s habit of remaining silent in response to an insult. His stereotype of behavior will be to “cry in the corner”, but not give the offender a worthy rebuff. Such people do not know how to talk through the problem, preferring to suffer through it.

Psychosomatics identifies the following causes of sore throat:

  • Silencing grievances.
  • Suppression of negativity.
  • Inability to defend yourself and your point of view.
  • Lack of self-expression.

Such people force themselves to remain silent. They constantly control their statements, fearing to hurt others. The problem is that these others are not at all worried about this.

And the body, forced to remain silent all the time, reacts accordingly - the throat begins to hurt, and the voice disappears. Children of domineering parents who consider only their own opinions are at risk of developing psychosomatic sore throat. Growing up, they often continue to hide in the shadows and are afraid to express their thoughts and feelings directly.

Psychological causes and factors of the disease

The psychosomatics of a sore throat is a complex factor in the course of the disease; children often get sick for a long time because they are in a constant state of stress. But psychological problems begin to develop not only because of tense relationships in the family, but also excessive guardianship often acts as a primary source.

Experts say psychosomatic sore throat in children occurs for the following reasons:

  • lack of parental attention, feeling of loneliness,
  • constant scandals and quarrels in the family,
  • jealousy of brothers or sisters,
  • multiple prohibitions and restrictions,
  • frequent humiliation (especially public),
  • flaws in appearance,
  • grafted complexes.

Parents must understand that the first years of a child’s life are important, since the psyche is formed at this stage. If there are bad and unstable relationships between family members, such an atmosphere will certainly negatively affect the child’s condition.

In adults, psychosomatic sore throat and other respiratory diseases often appear due to other factors:

  • irritability, constant aggression,
  • selfishness, concentration on oneself, inflated self-esteem,
  • isolation, leading to a lack of communication,
  • experiences that you have no one to share with,
  • constant scandals in the family.

Psychological causes of sore throat are associated only with negative emotions that cannot be neutralized. To maintain health, you need to be able to abstract yourself and not react so emotionally to various situations, otherwise various deviations and disorders can become constant companions.
